Advance Propulsion Centre - Warwick University
A space occupied by the Advanced Propulsion Centre in the grounds of Warwick University, this was to be a permanent showcase space that offered presentation, conference and lecture facilities, small meeting areas and a central display area to showcase innovative products. The curved partitions are constructed from a metal frame system which is then clad in a tensile fabric. The ability to change out the fabric and replace with different graphics means the space can easily adapt, compared to a more traditional and costly approach of redecoration. Interactive devices are housed in bespoke furniture, counters and podium that can again be re-clad to suit changing information. The nature of the client - technological innovation - meant the space had to be flexible and adaptable to respond to the changes in the industry.
